Rose J. Drummond (nee McDonald), 90, of Perkasie, PA passed away on February 21, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Veronica (North) McDonald and the beloved wife of the late Harry J. Drummond. Rose was a devoted mother to her five daughters Denise Drummond Paviglianiti (Mark), MaryAnn Drummond, Anita Howald (Chris), Maureen Romero (Gregg), and Meg Drummond Ciesielka (Rob). She was a cherished “Grammy” to her four grandchildren, Sean (Blair), Kimmy (Ryan), Kate, and Ryan, and a proud great grandmother to Landon, Hayden Rose, and Emmett. She was also the sister of Mary Denise (McDonald) Yonkin and the late Ann (McDonald) Saxe, Gerald McDonald, and her twin brother, Robert McDonald.
Rose was a devoted Catholic and parishioner at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church for 50 years, volunteering her time often at activities like cleaning the church or collecting and pricing the jewelry for the annual Christmas bazaar. She was also a member of both the Church’s Welcoming Committee and the Senior Group.
In her earlier years, Rose was an avid bowler who competed in several leagues, and she loved attending Halloween costume events at Saint David’s Church in Willow Grove, PA with friends. Additionally, she frequently visited her hometown of Dushore, PA and valued spending time at the cabin with family. Rose also enjoyed gardening, taking walks, and observing the various birds and animals that visited her yard. Although she seldom watched television, she almost never missed an episode of Jeopardy.
Rose’s love, generosity, and support will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever remain in our hearts.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 100 Broad Street, Hilltown, PA 18927. Relatives and friends are also invited to the visitation at the Church from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in her memory.
