It is with profound sadness and much love that we mourn the passing of Rosalie Ann (Flynn) Benedict of Bechtelsville, PA, who passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026 at the age of 77. She was a loving mother to William, Jr. and his wife Jeannie and Colleen Daley and her husband Jeff. She was the cherished Mom Mom to her grandchildren Liam and Caitlin Daley and Grace Benedict. She is also survived by her sister Loretta Lawn and spouse Buddy, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Bill, parents Helen and Thomas Flynn, and brother Tommy.

Throughout her life, she was active in community service as a member and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 933, as a member of the VFW Post 7650, and as an active member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, an organization which promotes Friendship, Unity, and Christian Charity with her Irish heritage. She was a lifelong devoted Catholic, often attending daily mass with a special devotion to the Blessed Mother.

She was best known for her gift of bringing friends and family together, preparing big meals to celebrate holidays and special occasions. She also loved to travel, and she especially enjoyed a cross-country trip with her husband where they stopped in almost every state. She was a devoted grandmother and loved hosting summer trips to the campground outside Ocean City, NJ.

A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, June 30th at 11:30am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 40 Spring Mount Road, Schwenksville PA 19473. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation prior to Mass from 10:30 -11:15 am. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 2025 Old Gulph Road, Villanova.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to Lisa’s Army: www.lisasarmy.org, a generous organization that assists those with cancer or St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church.
