Ralph Griesinger

Ralph Griesinger Jr., 95, passed away on April 28, 2025.

Ralph was the husband of 64 years to the late Anita Jean (Antles). He was the father of Sandy Lightkep (David), Paula Hartzell (Jim), Marcia Ludlow (Matt), Kathy Sweeney (Jay), and the late Steve Griesinger. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Ralph was born and raised in Hamilton, Ohio. He was the son of the late Helen (Reiter) and Ralph Griesinger Sr. After graduating from Hamilton High School Ralph went on to study at Heidelberg University where he met his future wife, Jean. Upon graduation in 1952, Ralph joined the United States Army and served until honorably discharged in 1954. During his time in the Army, Ralph received the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.

Ralph married Jean in 1953 and after leaving the Army, Ralph attended The Ohio State University and received his Master of Social Work.

Ralph’s career in Social Work started with the YMCA, moving to General Motors and then Eaton. After leaving the workforce, Ralph consulted for several companies, setting up their Human Resource programs.

Along with his deep love of family, Ralph was an avid golfer and passed that love of the sport to his grandsons. Friends and family are invited to Pleasantville United Church of Christ (3424 Limekiln Pike, Chalfont PA) on Saturday June 21, 2025, with visitation at 10:00am and service at 11:00am
