Obituary

Patricia Ann Reick, 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Born in Philadelphia, she was the cherished daughter of Anna (nee Duffy) and John Gallagher. She was predeceased by her sisters Nancy Wright and Mary Smith.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, David ”Bud”, and her loving children: Tricia Eby (Shawn), David Reick (Kathleen) and Dawn Tobler (the late Edward).

Patricia was a proud and cherished Mom mom: Devon Wittreich (Joseph), Julia Tobler, Marykate Reick, Allison Tobler, Edward Tobler, David Reick, Alyssa Eby, Anna Tobler and Madeline Reick.

Her greatest joy in life was her family-especially her grandchildren whom she adored deeply. She loved shopping, especially at Boscovs, and found immense happiness in giving to others. Christmas was often filled with laughter and excitement as her family opened countless thoughtfully chosen gifts of clothes and pajamas.

Patricia was an enthusiastic Bingo player, often taken on “extreme bingo” with dozens of cards at once.

In her quieter times, she enjoyed playing cards at the clubhouse and making blankets. She made many blankets featuring her favorite Philadelphia sports teams. A devoted fan, she especially loved the Philadelphia 76ers and even worked as a secretary for the team for a time. Along with many years working as a secretary in the mental health field, where she was known for her kindness, compassion and willingness to help others.

Patricia treasured long summer days spent with her family at Brigantine Beach, where she was often the last to leave.

She will be remembered for deep love of family, her strength, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
