Omaira Tobar, 92, passed away on January 27, 2026, in the company of her family. Wife of the late Jaime E. Tobar, Sr. and mother of Patricia Lord (Tim), George Tobar (Ann-Marie) and the late Jaime E. Tobar, Jr. Grandmother of Tommy, Adrian, Jimmy, Michael, Alexandria, Nicholas and Daniel. Great grandmother of Jimmy, Thomas, Caroline, Monica and Wesley.

Omaira was born in Cali, Colombia on October 9th,1933. She grew up on a small family farm and eventually became a teacher who cherished her students. In the 1960's, Omaira gave up her life in Colombia and moved to the United States. She lived in Philadelphia where she became a seamstress and raised her 3 children.

She enjoyed spending time with her longtime friends in Club International. She liked watching Telemundo, going for walks, and eating sweet treats, but above all, she loved her family the most. She lived to help them out anyway that she could. She spent her retirement looking after her grandchildren that she loved more than anything. Omaira will be remembered most for her kindness and her humor. She brought a gentle warmth into every room she walked in that will never be forgotten.

Funeral Mass 10 AM Wednesday February 4, 2026, at Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church 1325 Upper State Road North Wales, PA 19454. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation at the Church Wednesday after 9 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery (family only). In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter, Dementia Friendly PA (Doylestown) would be appreciated.
