Marie Catherine Sharp

Marie Catherine Sharp, 82, of Perkasie passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025. She was born in Philadelphia and was an avid Philly sports fan, who was always up for an Eagles Game. She loved the ocean and spent her youth at the Atlantic City beach, a love that carried on into adulthood where she often spent time in Florida. Marie wanted to see the world, and traveled extensively, seeing Europe, South America, Australia and even the South Pole. She always had a desire to help people, and in her 50’s she decided to go back to school to become a nurse. As a Catholic, Marie valued a family, and as the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Sharp, she is survived by her three children, Melissa Bishop, of Perkasie, Galen Sharp and his wife Valerie of Hilltown, and Tobin Sharp of Schwenksville. She was also the loving grandmother to Luke, Felicity and Chase, and four step grandchildren Robert, Ashley, Mike and Ilana. As she embarks on this final journey to be reunited with her late husband, she will be missed by all of us who remain.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the Epilepsy Foundation, or the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM Friday June 20, 2025, at St. Agnes Church 445 N. Main St. Sellersville, PA 18960. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation at the Church from 10 to 10:45 AM. Interment will be Private.
