IN LOVING MEMORY OF
John J.
Rawa
September 23, 1937 – January 21, 2026
John J. Rawa, age 88, of Hilltown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully in his home on January 21st.
Born and raised in Hilltown, John spent his entire life in the community he loved. He was a graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School in Lansdale, served proudly in the United States Army, and built a long and dedicated career as a manufacturing engineer at Fischer & Porter (later ABB) in Warminster, PA.
John was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Margaret, his parents Frank and Mary Rawa, and his siblings Agnes Joan, Joseph, Raymond, Thomas, Rev. Jerome Rawa, Irene Hagerman, and Marie Knight.
He is survived by his children Karen Buck (Scott), John Rawa (Greg), Lisa Morgan (Jim), and Steven Rawa (Heather). John was a devoted grandfather to nine grandchildren — Michael, Katie, Elizabeth, Kelsey, Daniel, Sierra, Jamie, Jacob, and Jason — and a proud great-grandfather to four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Frank, several sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
John will be remembered for his deep love of family and friends, his outgoing and humorous personality, and his many interests. He especially loved baseball and faithfully followed the Philadelphia Phillies, enjoyed hunting, and took great pride in spending time outdoors working on his lawn and gardens.
Services will be held on February 13th at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 100 Broad Street, Hilltown, PA. Visitation will take place from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, Hilltown, PA, in John’s memory.
