John "Jack" H. Lake, 83, of New Hope, Pa and formerly of Pipersville, PA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 29, 2025. Husband of the late Mary (Fairfield). Survived by his longtime companion Ruthie Wolrich. Father of John H. Lake Jr. (Kris), Roger (Sue Wolske), and Patricia Grow (Brad). Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Jack was the previous owner of Mark's Garage in Chalfont, Pa. He spent many years working for Plumstead Christian School maintaining and driving the fleet of buses. In later years he worked for Keenan Mercedes as a valet driver. Jack was a lifetime member of the Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company and Ambulance Corps. Some of his hobbies included collecting electric trains, Winross Trucks, and his Ford Mustang. He also enjoyed memorable trips to the New Jersey shore.
Friends and family are invited to attend his Funeral Service 11 AM, Friday, November 7, 2025, at Hilltown Baptist Church, Chalfont, PA where the greeting will begin at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Hilltown Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Jack's memory may be made to Hilltown Baptist Church at the above address, Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company, Box 405, Plumsteadville, PA 18949 or Plumstead Christian School, Box 216, Plumsteadville, PA 18949.
