Ilse Wells

Ilse Wells of Chalfont, PA passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends, on Monday,

October 9, 2023 at NewSeasons at New Britain, Chalfont, PA. A private, intimate burial service according

to her wishes was held on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Elmwood Cemetery, Selkirk, NY. Born January 19,

1924 in Waldenburg, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Ernst and Kaethe Zimmer and the

loving mother of Karin (Barton) Baker and grandson Christopher, North Wales, Pa. She was predeceased

by her husband James (retired US Army First Sergeant) and was a proud and loving military spouse,

being stationed in many different US states and foreign countries. She lived in Glenmont and Albany, NY

for 47 years until moving to Chalfont.
