Harold Robert Horter age 88 passed away peacefully on Monday, February 9, 2026 surrounded by his family. Harold was born in Philadelphia, Pa. to Harold and Helen (Stock). Harold was the husband of the late Ellie. He is survived by his daughters Helen K. Weiner (Michael), and Sharon Reilly (the late Robert Reilly). His grandchildren Rachel Reilly (fiancé Kevin Budnick), Amber Hamilton (Scott), and Katie Sikon (Shaun). He is also survived by his goddaughter Cheryl Scavillo (Sean) and their children Christopher (Tia) their children (Roman and Harper Jo), Jordan (Kyra), Gabriel and Maximus. He is additionally survived by his brother Brian, and sister-in-law Patricia Horter (late brother Gary Horter).

Harold was truly dedicated to his family. There was nothing he would not do for them. Everyone enjoyed being in his company; as he had a great sense of humor and was a great listener. He especially cherished his grandchildren and he was extremely proud of them. He served his country in the Air Force. Harold was an avid reader all his life. His favorite sayings were, “what’s today is not tomorrow” and “when you love someone you go to the ends of the earth for them”. He was truly a great husband, father and grandfather, who was loved greatly and will be missed always and forever.
