Harry M. Gacad "Buddy", 84, passed away on August 1, 2026. Husband of Joan Gacad (nee Vollberg). Father of Jeffrey Gacad and Stephanie Gacad (Devon Buscio). He was preceded in death by his siblings; Ray Nealis, Joan "Dolly" Madison, Victoria Domingo Kreisher, Victor Domingo and James "Bunny" Gacad. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Harry was the former Police Chief of Chalfont Boro, a role that he was very proud to have served in. He was also a member of the Bucks County FOP and the Southeastern Chiefs Assoc.

He was a lifelong animal lover of all species. His current dog, Liebe and his cats, Carolina, Chesapeake and Chico will miss him.

Harry was a friend to all and liked going to new places and meeting new people but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family.

Funeral Service 11 AM Friday August 7, 2026, at the Scanlin McDonald Funeral Home 175 East Butler Avenue Chalfont, PA 18914. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM and again on Friday after 10 AM. Entombment Sunset Memorial Park.
