George J. Mortimer
June 19, 1945 — July 8, 2025
George J. Mortimer, 80, passed away on July 8, 2025. George was the beloved husband of Patricia M. (nee Fernandez) and loving father of Carla P. Mortimer. He was the brother of Teri A. Unes (Eric) the late James M. Mortimer, Susan M. Millinhausen (Robert) and Dorothy J. Mortimer.
George was a kind and loyal gentleman. He cared deeply for his family and friends. George was a quiet man and unexpectedly could be very funny with his quick wit and humor. To know George was to love him.
He was a 1965 graduate of Malvern Prep and a 1967 graduate of Pierce College. Following his schooling he entered the Us Army and served during the Vietnam War era and was stationed in Germany throughout.
After his military service ended, he worked for Betz Laboratories for many years as well as other companies.
Funeral Mass 11 AM Tuesday July 22, 2025, at St. Jude Church 321 West Butler Avenue Chalfont, PA 18914. Relatives and friends are invited to the Church Tuesday after 10 AM. Interment will follow at 1:30 PM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery 830 Highland Road Newtown, PA 18940.
