Edgar W. Hammer

Edgar W. Hammer, 63, passed away peacefully at his home in Hilltown Township at 9:00pm on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. This was after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer.

Edgar lived for his family. He enjoyed being outdoors; taking care of his property, hunting, fishing, and going on nature walks and drives. He loved watching Nascar, Indie, Formula One racing as well as the Outdoor channel. He was a strong and humble man who loved very deeply and fought hard for what he believed in. He kept his eyes opened to the wonders of the world and would often see things most would not. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Pop-Pop, Uncle, Son, Brother and Friend.

Edgar survived by his wife Kimberle S. (Seaver) Hammer, Son Edward W. (wife Allye) Hammer, Daughter Jessica L. Hammer, Grandchildren Brianna Hammer, Joseph Ketterer, Theo and Finley Hammer, Mother Claudette J. (Canizares) Hammer and Brother Clark W. Hammer. He has preceded in death by his father Willy Hammer, brother Gary Hammer and loyal canine companion Coal Hammer.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation and memorial service on Friday October 3, 2025, at Scanlin McDonald Funeral Home located at 175 East Butler Avenue Chalfont, PA 18914. Visitation will start at 10:00am and will be followed by a memorial service starting at 11:00am.
