Dorothy Neri, a resident of Newtown Township, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Doylestown Hospital. Born July 25, 1937 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. Neri (Tom the Boot) and Virginia Longo. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Mary and three sisters, Theresa Hollis, Josephine Broccardi and Antoinette Cunningham.
She is survived by her loving family. Her daughter Lori Iannacone (Karl Kritzer), from Springtown, PA and two sons, George Iannacone (Cathy), from Chalfont, PA and Michael Iannacone from Celebrations, FL. Her five grandchildren, Michael Iannacone (Jackie), of Wesley Chapel, FL, Christopher Iannacone and Tyler Iannacone of Absecon, NJ, Lauren Iannacone of Lancaster, PA and Luchiana Miranda of Tampa, FL.
She was a graduate of Gwynedd Mercy University.
Before retiring she worked at the Golden Plough Inn in Peddler's Village in Lahaska, PA. For many years she had a successful jewelry and accessories business.
She was an independent, spirited and stylish woman with a great sense of humor. She enjoyed trips to Italy and France with her family. Above all else, Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and will be dearly missed.
