It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dawn L Morris who suddenly passed away on June 11, 2026 at the age of 57.
Dawn lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and a deep love for family and friends. She touched countless lives through her caring nature and unwavering willingness to help others.
Dawn began her career working in childcare, where her patience and nurturing spirit made a lasting impact on many children and families. Later, she worked in the accounting department at Tinius Olsen. Eventually, health challenges led to her disability.
She found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially reading and needlepoint. Whether she was immersed in a good book or creating beautiful handcrafted pieces, these hobbies brought her comfort and happiness throughout her life.
To many, Dawn was more than a friend or neighbor—she was family. Together with her mother and sister, both of whom preceded her in death, she helped raise and nurture generations of children. She had a special gift for making every child feel loved and welcomed. Her home was always filled with laughter, snacks, treats, and open arms. She delighted in spoiling the children in her life with gifts, candy, and affection, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Those who knew Dawn will remember her gentle heart, her generosity, and her ability to make others feel valued and cared for. Despite suffering from chronic headaches for many years, she continued to put others first and share her love freely.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother and father , Melvin and Barbara Morris, and her sister, Caraanne Jurasek
She is survived by her sister Kathleen M. Day (Robert) , Aunt of Robert Day, Jr, (Tarah), Daniel Day (Liz), Steven Day (Briana) and Kevin Day (Amanda). Great Aunt to Troy, Cara, Gianna, Harper and Becca. along with many dear friends, neighbors, and the countless lives she touched throughout the years.
Funeral Services are Wednesday, June 24 at Scanlin McDonald Funeral Home 175 East Butler Avenue Chalfont, PA 18914. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation at the funeral home 9:30 to 11. Memorial Service at 11. Interment Beulah Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated, Though she is gone from our sight, the love, kindness, and generosity she shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
