It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Albert Ortiz, who passed away peacefully at his home on April 19, 2026.

Daniel was a devoted husband to his wife, Kristie, and a loving father to his children, Lana, Abigail, and Andrew. He also cherished his role as a father to his bonus children, Aiden, Abigail, and Lilly Marzocco, embracing them with the same love as his own. Being a father was his greatest joy.

He is survived by his parents, Albert and Regina; his siblings, Christopher, Adrianne (Diana Walton) and Doug (Stephanie); his parents-in-law, Curtis and Dianne Moser; his brothers-in-law, Matthew Moser (Danielle) and Michael Moser (Rose); his beloved nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly. 

Daniel will be remembered for his kind heart, his humor, and his deep love for his family. Before his diagnosis with FTD, he was a Director of Finance who took great pride in his work. He loved being outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing, finding peace and happiness in those moments. He had a way of bringing comfort and laughter to those around him, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the life we shared with Daniel and the memories that will live on in all of us. His legacy will continue through his children and all those who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

Funeral Service 11 AM Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Scanlin-McDonald Funeral Home 175 East Butler Avenue Chalfont, PA 18914.  Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing at the funeral home Thursday after 9:30 AM.  Interment will follow in Beulah Cemetery.
