Beloved family member, friend and member of the community Andrew J. Shellock Jr., 85, of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, passed away on the evening of June 20, 2026.

Born on May 16th, 1941, in Northampton, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Andrew Shellock Sr. and Anna Shellock (née Hertzog).

He was a graduate of Northampton High School. He worked for much of his life at Bell Labs (Western Electric) in Allentown. More recently, he worked at restaurants Penn Taproom and Pennsylvania Soup and Seafood in Doylestown. He did this as a post-retirement gig just for fun and to remain active. He did many things to stay active, but he particularly loved walking around and talking to people in Doylestown, Wegmans, and various malls.

He was also very active in the Chalfont Lion's Club and loved sports. He worked on the chain crew at Central Bucks South high school football games for many years.

He was predeceased in 1994 by his brother Ronald. He is survived by his sons Kyle and Chris, and daughter Cathy Smitreski; his grandson Steven; his brothers Bruce and Kelly; his nieces Ronica Bosga and Stacy Lorenz; his nephews Scott and Brian. He will also be remembered by his very, very large number of friends.

The service will be held Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 11:00am at Scanlin McDonald Funeral Home 175 East Butler Avenue Chalfont, Pennsylvania 18914. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing at the funeral home Saturday after 10 AM. Interment Private.
