Alfred Neubauer, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and loyal friend, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026, at the age of 85 with his wife Doris by his side.
Born February 14, 1941, in Pfaffenhofen, Germany, he grew up in Nuremberg, Germany, with his grandmother. On February 1, 1965, he proudly immigrated to the United States, where he planted roots, met his wife Doris, started a family, and lived a full life. Married for 56 years, Alfred and Doris were blessed with three daughters and four grandchildren.
Family was his greatest joy and brought him so much happiness. He had a love for music and travel and spent twenty years after retirement taking adventurous trips with Doris, exploring new places, and enjoying nature. He was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan while continuing to root for his home soccer team in Germany. His gentle nature, kindness, and compassion touched all who knew him. He was a man of honor and integrity, always putting others before himself.
He is survived by his loving wife, Doris, and their children: Angela Neubauer (Erik Rowland), Melissa Kummeth (George), and Wendy Orseno (Chuck). He is also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Kylie and Lexi Orseno, Matthew and Ella Kummeth, and his dog Norman. He is survived by his siblings Fritz, Rudy, Eva, Rose, and his late brother Herbie.
His family will celebrate his life privately. Donations may be made in his memory to the Center for Dementia Research.
