Stephen D. Holland of Blue Bell, PA passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, April 29, 2018. He was 70.

He was a decorated Vietnam veteran who served as a US Navy corpsman from 1966 to 1970. He was the recipient of the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry and Purple Heart.

During his career Stephen worked as a human resource executive for the electronics, pharmaceutical, aerospace and insurance industries.

He was a member of and served as a Deacon of Pleasantville UCC in Chalfont, PA.

Those who knew Stephen enjoyed a man who was exceptionally well read & travelled. He had a mischievous and sharp sense of humor and was a fabulous cook who loved to entertain family and friends.

Stephen was devoted to his family. He leaves behind his oldest son, Joseph S. Holland & daughter-in-law, Dr. Christina Forbes, his son, Michael S. Holland and daughter-in-law, Rebekah Holland and a daughter, Isabella F. Holland. He also leaves behind his grandson, Noah S. Holland and his former wife and dear friend, Pamela Rubin.

He was predeceased by his parents, Elizabeth & Cecil Holland and by his younger brother, David Holland.

A native of the Lakes Region of NH, Stephen loved nothing better than to be surrounded by his family & dogs in the comfort of his home, preferably in warm weather and by the water.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him as a man who embraced life with laughter, wisdom, a passion for Boston Sports and music.

Friends and family are invited to attend his Memorial Service 11 AM, Friday, May 11, 2018 at Pleasantville United Church of Christ, 3424 Limekiln Pike, Chalfont, PA where the greeting will begin at 10 AM. Interment will be private.
