Norma L. Golembiewski, a resident of Chalfont, PA, passed away Tuesday January 5th 2021 at Doylestown Hospital after a battle with COVID-19. She was 65.
Born in Bucks County, she was the daughter of Stephen and Norma (Josephson) Yagecic.
Norma attended Drexel Hill High School. She lived in Delaware County for most of her life. As a child, she worked at her family deli. She was a medical secretary for five years. After the birth of her last child, Norma became a full time stay at home mom. She was a devoted grandparent, parent, and pet parent.
Norma had a deep relationship with God and Christ. She was dearly loved by everyone who knew her. Norma was kind, compassionate, loving and forgiving. She believed that anger did not solve anything. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. In her youth, she liked ceramics, horseback riding, and dancing. In her later years, she enjoyed reading, keeping up with the news, relaxing at home, attending musicals, and going to the beach. She passed along to her children a deep love of nature. She loved animals.
Norma is survived by her husband, John Golembiewski, three children, Adam Yagecic (Samantha), Nicole Favuzzi-Qualls (Brian), and Anastacia Golembiewski (Chris); brothers, Stephen Yagecic (Patricia), James Yagecic (Arlene), and Thomas Yagecic (Beth), 7 grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Michael Yagecic.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family 10-11 AM, Monday, January 11, 2021 at Scanlin Funeral Home, 175 East Butler Ave, Chalfont, PA. Please wear mask and adhere to social distancing. Services are private due to the current circumstances. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date when we can all gather safely.
